Start a new career with CNM’s new Vegan Natural Chef Course
The number of people living a predominantly plant-based life is soaring with no signs of slowing down, and to cater for their growing numbers, this November sees the launch of the new Vegan Natural Chef Diploma Training at CNM, the College of Naturopathic Medicine. The Diploma is a 3 part course covering everything you need to know to become a successful plant-based chef, from how the digestive process works, to working with plant-based proteins, to building a culinary career. It is a part time classroom and kitchen based course followed by home assignments. In all it consists of 420 hours of life-changing education plus an internship of 100 hours. The course is usually completed in 9-10 months and can be undertaken around other commitments.
Course Director Eva Killeen says “CNM’s course is unique. In line with our college’s holistic food-based approach to health, students get to learn how the food choices we make impact our immunity, cognitive ability and energy levels. Our Natural Chef and Vegan Natural Chef students learn to prepare delicious gourmet meals that focus on nutritional value. We promote the use of whole, organic, fresh and minimally processed seasonal foods, and as no single dietary regimen is appropriate for everyone, we teach how individualised foods can enhance health.”
CNM has a 20 year track record of training successful natural health practitioners, with colleges across the UK and Ireland. Additionally, Short Courses, CNM’s Natural Chef Diploma and now the Vegan Natural Chef Diploma are available to study at CNM’s central London college near King’s Cross.
