This tiny connected device, shaped like a pebble, tracks both your breathing and your activity throughout the day, giving you insights in both your physical (heart rate, steps taken, calories burnt) and mental health. By measuring your breathing rate, Spire can tell whether you’re focused, calm or stressed and will remind you to take a breather through notifications on the app (breathing and meditation exercises will help you adopt a more mindful and zen lifestyle). Developed in Stanford University’s Calming Technology Lab, the device is now available in Apple stores and online from £99.95.
